How to install the P.wheel Electric Bike Booster?

⚠️ CRITICAL: MOUNT BEFORE POWERING

Always complete the mechanical installation and clamp P.wheel securely onto your seatpost BEFORE pressing the power button. Turning it on while unmounted causes the gyroscope to calibrate incorrectly, which will temporarily lock the motor.

💡 Accidentally turned it on first? No worries — simply hold the power button for 10+ seconds to reset and re-calibrate.

Knowing the Limits: P.wheel is a "Booster", Not a Dirt Bike

We don't recommend this for heavy mountain climbing.

Many brands promise their conversion kits can tackle any mountain just to close a sale, leaving riders disappointed after delivery. We want to be honest: the P.wheel is a 200W assistance booster designed to flatten urban overpasses, handle gentle slopes, and ease your daily commute. If your primary goal is conquering steep, rugged mountain inclines without pedaling, this device will not meet your expectations, and we respectfully advise against purchasing it.

Friction Drive Reality: Wet Tires Will Slip

Water alters the physics of friction.

Because P.wheel delivers power via physical contact with your rear tire, its performance relies on traction. If you ride through deep puddles, thick mud, or waterlogged roads, the moisture between the roller and the tire will cause temporary slippage or reduced power efficiency. It is a brilliant fair-weather and light-drizzle companion — but not built for water sports.

Weatherproofing: We Don't Exaggerate IP Ratings

It handles daily splashes, but it is not a submarine.

We refuse to hype up marketing buzzwords like "100% Waterproof." While P.wheel easily withstands a surprise light shower or damp roads, it is not fully sealed against water ingress. In heavy, sustained downpours, water can seep into the charging port or seams, which may damage the internal electronics and battery. If heavy rain hits, please pop it off (it takes just 3 seconds!) and slip it into your bag.

Although we publish our Compatibility Guide openly, we know not everyone has the time to measure every millimeter of their bike.
