If you just received your P.wheel, this guide walks you through everything — from downloading the app to reading real-time data on your first ride.
Step 1: Download the P.wheel App
Available on both Android and iOS. Search for "P.wheel" in the App Store or Google Play and install the official app.

Step 2: Mount First, Power On Second
⚠️ Important: Always mount P.wheel onto your seatpost BEFORE powering it on. This is required for gyroscope calibration. If you power it on before mounting, long-press the power button for 10+ seconds to reset.

Step 3: Connect via Bluetooth (the Right Way)
Do NOT pair P.wheel through your phone's system Bluetooth settings. Open the P.wheel App and pair directly from within the app.
If you've already paired via system Bluetooth:
- Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings
- Delete/forget the P.wheel device
- Re-open the app and pair from there
Step 4: Switch Assist Modes
P.wheel offers 4 assist levels:
| Mode | Level | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| ECON | 1 | Maximum range, light assist |
| MOD | 2 | Balanced — default factory setting |
| GR | 3 | Hills & higher speeds |
| MAX | 4 | Full power, 200W continuous / 350W peak |
Without the app, P.wheel defaults to MOD mode. Connect the app to access all 4 modes.
Step 5: Read Your Real-Time Data
Once connected, the app dashboard shows:
- Battery level (SOC %)
- Trip distance, duration & average speed
- Odometer statistics
- Real-time power output
